Oakville Public Library Seniors’ Series Continues

Oakville Public Library invites you to join them on Wednesdays for tea, learn something new and chat with others. Enjoy learning about new topics from our guest speakers and get to know others at these informative and informal sessions!

Everyone is welcome, however these sessions are aimed at older adults, aged 55+.

Oct 28: Falls Prevention: Falls account for 85% of seniors’ injury-related hospitalizations. Learn how to prevent the 6 most common fall risks, for yourself or someone you care for.

Nov 4: Dementia: Tips for warding off dementia, reducing your risk, and strategies for coping.

Nov 11: Fraud & Scams: How to protect yourself, presented by the Halton Region Police.

Nov 18: What You Need to Know About Calling an Ambulance: Understand what happens when you call an ambulance, how to prevent the most common causes for calls and why it’s important to participate in the Halton EMS Emergency Vial Program.

Date/Time: Wed Sept 16th to Wed Nov 18th from 11:00am – 12:00pm

Location: Oakville Public Library, Central Branch Auditorium. 120 Navy St., Oakville

Cost: Free – no registration required, drop-in and bring your friends!
